We will help everyone know Truth and teach them how to answer biblical questions, and share God’s grace. We will be visible in Pico Rivera and the surrounding area to seek ways to serve our neighbors. We will become so valuable to the residents of Pico Rivera that if we had to close our doors, they would not only miss us but fight to keep us here.

Values

God’s Word

Scripture is God’s Truth and ultimately, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We will firmly stand on God’s Word as our norm and guide for all we do. We also understand that faith comes from hearing the Word- God’s Word.

Romans 10:17: So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Grace

God extends grace to us through Jesus Christ. We are forgiven sinners and remember that everyone is sinful and in need of God’s grace.

Ephesians 1:7: In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

Understanding

We understand that everyone is going through different things at different times. We are glad you are here regardless of how life is going for you. If life is going great, we celebrate with you. If life is difficult, we will pray and walk with you through it.

Colossians 3:12: Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

Respect

We will respect one another. This doesn’t mean we always agree on every issue but we respect each other. We want everyone to “come as you are”. We want you to be comfortable and know that God loves all of us.

Philippians 2:3: Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

Our Neighborhood

We are uniquely situated in Pico Rivera. We look for ways to serve this community. You don’t have to be from this community and many of our members are not residences of Pico Rivera. However, we understand our opportunity to show God’s love to this community that we are co-located in. In this way, we take Jesus’ words, “Love your neighbor” in a literal sense.
